SEE Universe 2020, organized by Serbian Office for Space Sciences, Research and Development (SERBSPACE),  shall be the first South-East Europe Space conference, which will include academic, educational and business panel, industry, technology and innovation session and space and society segment.

 

SEE Universe 2020 shall gather international and national stakeholders and experts from the domain of space sciences and industry. SERBSPACE believes that this conference will place Belgrade on a global map of innovation and industry , which shall enable development of national capacities, technology and innovation as well as international cooperation and knowledge exchange, all in service of sustainable development.

* All accepted papers will be published in Conference proceedings publication and awarded with Classification of Scientific paper. If you prefer to participate with Abstract and Presentation only, only Abstract will be included in Conference proceedings.  

** Due to limited number of speakers and participants, we advise to submit your Abstract or to register as soon as possible in order to secure your place at the Conference.

*** There is no participation fee for SEE Universe 2020.

**** Confirmed speakers are automatically registered.

***** Working language of the Conference shall be English.

***** The Conference will be organized as an online event. Approved participants will receive an invitation link.

We are inviting all interested individuals and/or companies, institutions, associations, governmental and non-governmental representatives to submit a paper from their respective space-related field or to register for the Conference.

Academia & Science

The aim of this panel session is to bring together key speakers from competent national, regional and international universities and organizations, covering wide array of space sciences and topics such as: space exploration, space law & policies, architecture, mechanics, engineering, satellite applications, remote sensing & GIS, propulsion systems, communication, microgravity, etc. Focus of this segment shall aim at national and regional speakers who would be given an opportunity to present their work at the international conference.

Industry

Industry 4.0, Innovation & Investments

This session will engage the industries to share their insight on space-related innovations and technology for the benefit of start-ups and emerging businesses from developing countries, such as Serbia and the Balkans. The start-ups, emerging industries and representatives from developed countries will also be provided opportunities to share their experiences and difficulties. The session aims to bring together private and public stakeholders, including potential investors and domestic job market.

Cooperation, Partnerships & SDGs

With main focus on multi-stakeholder partnerships as important vehicles for mobilizing and sharing knowledge, expertise, technologies and financial resources to support the achievement of the Sustainable development goals in all countries, particularly developing countries, this session emphasizes recognized "no country shall be left behind" motto regarding development of Space sector and activities. It will also serve as a forum to promote and improve regional and international cooperation.
